Batch Testing

Batch-level review and testing coordination for APIs, intermediates, specialty ingredients, and custom-manufactured pharmaceutical materials.

Quality review support

Before materials move, the batch needs to make sense.

Ventalys supports batch-level review and testing coordination for APIs, intermediates, specialty ingredients, and custom-manufactured materials. Before materials move through the supply chain, pharmaceutical buyers need confidence that the batch matches the required specification, documentation, grade, and intended use.

Depending on the product and manufacturer, Ventalys can help coordinate available batch documents, manufacturer-supported testing, third-party laboratory testing, and quality review before shipment or delivery.

What we support

Batch testing and documentation review

Our role is to help customers review the quality documents, specifications, and test requirements needed before a material is accepted into the supply chain.

Certificate of Analysis Review

Review available CoA documentation, including batch number, manufacturing date, expiry or retest date, test parameters, specification limits, and actual test results.

Specification Review

Support review of product specifications to help confirm whether the material aligns with the customer’s intended use, dosage pathway, market, and quality requirements.

Identity, Assay & Purity

Coordinate review or testing support for product identity, assay, related substances, purity, and other product-specific test methods where available.

Impurities & Residual Solvents

For selected materials, customers may request impurity profiles, residual solvent information, elemental impurity data, or other quality details required for internal review.

Stability & Retest Information

Coordinate available stability information, retest dates, storage conditions, and shelf-life support documentation where provided by the manufacturer.

Third-Party Testing Coordination

Where additional verification is required, Ventalys can help customers coordinate third-party laboratory testing through qualified testing partners, subject to product and market requirements.

Testing parameters

Common review areas

Testing needs vary by material, intended use, market, and customer procedure. The areas below are commonly reviewed during API and pharmaceutical ingredient qualification.

Built around practical buyer requirements.

Customers often need more than a product quote. They need confidence that the batch can be reviewed internally, documented properly, and moved through the next stage of their quality process.

Ventalys helps organize the information needed to make that review more efficient, while leaving final qualification, regulatory assessment, and release decisions with the customer.

Review checklist

Available support may include review or coordination around:

Product identity
Assay
Purity
Related substances
Residual solvents
Moisture / water content
Heavy metals / elemental impurities
Particle size
Microbiological limits
Storage conditions

Batch testing support, documentation availability, third-party laboratory coordination, and quality review depend on the product, manufacturer, market, and customer-specific requirements. Ventalys does not replace customer qualification, regulatory review, or final product release procedures.
